MCA - Sun-smart policy

The MCA's Executive Committee advises that it is the policy of the Association that clubs should:

• Ensure players wear standard white cricket trousers and white shirts, both for sun protection and out of respect for the traditions of the game

• promote the use of SPF30 (or higher) sunscreen. If possible, have a supply on site

• make sensible use of shade from buildings and trees when off the field.

• encourage players to wear club caps or hats when fielding
